Experience

Rachel is a personal injury trial lawyer who represents individuals who have been severely injured or otherwise suffered a catastrophic loss, including representing both clients who have sustained injuries and surviving family members in wrongful death cases. Since joining the firm, Rachel has focused her entire practice on the representation of individuals who have suffered injuries, or whose family members have been killed as a result of defective products or the negligence of others. She has successfully represented clients and obtained numerous seven and eight figure settlements and favorable verdicts in a wide variety of cases, including but not limited to defective products, heavy truck collisions, automobile and motorcycle collisions, medical malpractice, premises liability, and day care negligence.

Her clients have included children who received catastrophic brain and spinal cord injuries, and parents of children who have died because of poorly designed, defective child safety seats. She has also worked with clients who have suffered life-altering losses because of vehicle occupant protection systems that, instead of preventing injuries, actually cause them. In addition, Rachel has been active in litigation involving day care negligence and has represented families of children who have died at day care. In addition to being licensed in Kansas and Missouri, Rachel has appeared in cases pro hac vice in various state and federal jurisdictions and has a nationwide network of contacts.

During law school, Rachel won awards for the best overall Moot Court team, served on the Moot Court Council, and was elected as an Articles Editor for the Kansas Law Review. Rachel joined the Firm in 2015, where she dedicates all of her time pursuing cases throughout the country on behalf of victims and their families.
